Process Improvement

RK2 specializes in streamlining back-office processes. These are typically performed by knowledge workers in finance and IT environments and are often characterized by low levels of standardization, high levels of abstraction and overall lack of transparency.

While we are proficient with rigorous process improvement methodologies, particularly lean process improvement, RK2 takes a practical approach.  We focus on making the process visible and then facilitating a collaborative effort to simplify, reduce manual effort, improve quality, strengthen internal control, and make effective use of information technology.

Project Management

RK2 supports clients at every stage of the project lifecycle with special emphasis on project planning, project management, and project accounting. We take a risk-based approach to project planning to identify and address potential issues in advance, before your organization commits to a project.


Our project managers very often come with subject matter expertise, as well, and we are comfortable filling hybrid or utility player roles in support of your project.

On larger projects ($10 million +), we have deep experience establishing and operating the project accounting and reporting function alongside the project management team.
